Optimal support on the way to Gymnasium

As Gymnasium teachers with extensive experience in Gymnasium preparation, we are well acquainted with the requirements placed on students who wish to take the Gymnasium entrance exam – both during the exam itself and later during the probationary period and in the following semesters. This allows us to provide optimal support to children and adolescents on their way to Kurzgymnasium or the HMS.

Combination of group lessons and personalised learning

Thanks to our small class sizes (4-8 students), we can optimally support your child on their way to Gymi. Since not every child learns in the same way or at the same pace, our courses are designed to combine theory instruction and group practice with phases of personalized learning. Due to our excellently structured learning materials, students can also independently review the material and reinforce it using a variety of exercises.

Monitored and commented homework

In order to solidify the material, it is crucial that students review and practice what they have learned in class. Therefore, we regularly assign homework and check if it has been completed. Throughout the course, students also receive individual feedback from us on more complex homework assignments, for example, in the subject of German for writing tasks or in mathematics for the chosen solution paths of more difficult problems.

Always up to date

So that you are informed after each course afternoon about what content from the materials was covered in the course and what homework was given, both you and your child will be informed in an email. This means you always have an overview of the progress of the course content.

Assessments and simulated exams

Assessments and simulated exams conducted and evaluated by us provide students with indications of where they are already confident and which topics they still need to deepen and practice. Together, we work on filling the gaps and gaining confidence.

Guiding students on the path to success

As students in our Gymnasium preparation courses engage intensively with various topics in the subjects of Mathematics and German, they also acquire basic skills in these subjects, which generally lead to an improvement in grades. Since the preliminary grades count for the entrance exam, this additionally increases the chances of passing the entrance exam.
