General terms and Conditions (GTC)
Validity
By registering for an “Ans Gymi” course, you acknowledge the general terms and conditions of “Ans Gymi”.
Information about our courses
You can find the current course offerings on our website (www.ans-gymi.ch). The detailed content, prices and key organizational details of the courses can be found there. You will receive the exact organizational information, including the individual course dates and directions to the course location, before the course begins. The information on the website is binding unless you are informed otherwise by us by email.
Course registration
Registration for a course is usually done via the website, but is also possible by telephone or email. Registration is generally considered final and binding for both parties as soon as the amount owed for the course has been paid (de-registration regulations see below). You will receive a course confirmation from us by email.
Telefonic consultancy
A non-binding and free consultation by telephone is possible at any time.
Cancellation / refund of course costs
If you cancel before any early bird dates stated on the website, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel up to 14 days after the start of the course, you will receive half of the course costs refunded.
You will not receive a refund after 14 days of the start of the course.
Payment conditions
The course costs are due immediately upon registration. If we have not received the amount owed 7 days after registration, the place will be released. As a rule, you will be informed by us by email before the space is released, but you have no right to such advance information.
Absences of teachers
If a teacher is unable to attend one of the course dates, a replacement will be organized. If a replacement cannot be organized due to a short-term cancellation (illness, etc.), a replacement date will be offered for the canceled part of the course. If the student is unable to attend the alternative date, you will receive a pro-rata refund.
Absences of students
If a student is absent from class, there is no entitlement to a refund, regardless of whether the absence is their own fault or not. If you are absent due to illness, information is appreciated, but not mandatory. So that the student can optimally process the missed content, the student as well as the parents will be informed by email about which content from the materials has been covered and which homework has been given.
Conducting online courses
If the courses cannot take place on site due to an official order (e.g. in the event of an epidemic/pandemic), they will be held online. In this case there is no right to a refund or any other claims.
Cancellation of courses if the number of participants is too low
“Ans Gymi” can cancel courses with too few participants (3 or fewer). In this case, the course costs will be fully refunded. In addition, no further claims for damages can be made. In the event of a cancellation, we will be happy to inform you about other courses that your child could attend.
Alternatively, courses can be held despite the small number of participants (3 or fewer). In this case, the total duration of the course will be shortened by 30% with the course fee remaining unchanged.
We will inform you at least 10 calendar days before the start of the course if the course you have booked is not held or is held with a reduced number of participants. If you do not receive any information in this regard, the course will be held as normal.
Failure to pass the exam
At “Ans Gymi” the students are getting optimally prepared for the Gymi/HMS exam. Of course, passing the exam depends on numerous factors that we cannot influence. We therefore assume no warranty or liability in the event of failure; in particular, there are no claims for reimbursement, compensation or other claims.
